Mission Statement
To further an evangelical Lutheran Pietistic perspective, through evangelistic emphasis that reaches into the world with the Good News of God's saving grace in Jesus Christ, and provide training to individuals and congregations to attain that goal.
The Evangelical Lutheran Bible Fellowship (ELBF) is not a church or synod but rather an independent faith movement committed to keeping Pietistic teaching in Lutheran churches through Revival & Bible Conferences and training through its Long Distance Bible School Training Programs.
The other major emphasis of Evangelical Lutheran Bible Fellowship (ELBF) is its Foreign Mission outreach. HELPING HANDS MISSION, the Mission Arm of the ELBF, currently has 26 congregations in Western Kenya with more congregations waiting to be formed. They have an orphanage in Liyavo/Kitale taking care of 54 children.
In January of 2008 two Christian Schools were established, one in Liyavo/Kitale and the other in Kakichuma. In May of 2009, the Ndogo public school in Liyavo in response to the parents' request, was put under control and sponsorship of Helping Hands Missions. It is now the Ndogo Christian School. We now have a combined total of 1000 plus students in our three Christian Schools.
The Evangelical Lutheran Bible Fellowship also publishes the Revival Tidings, a monthly publication that is sent free of charge.
