HELPING HANDS MISSION NEEDS
Evangelism Outreach Equipment
We thank God for supplying a new powerful amplifier, 14 channel mixer, new speakers, microphones and other needed sound equipment for outdoor evangelistic meetings. We can use your financial help to meet these needs. With your help, you become part of our mission to reach the lost in Kenya for Christ.
Automotive
We have a tractor with plow, tiller, heavy duty large trailor, pickup truck, and a car. Maintenance funds are needed for tires, oil, filters, and other miscellaneous costs to keep our equipment running.
God willing, we would like to purchase a 14 passenger Van in 2010
In May 2009 our supporters in America provided funds to purchase a 2004 Toyota 4-wheel drive double cab pickup truck that will be used primarily in Evangelistic work.
Need for Good Grade Milk Cows
We have begun a "Cows for Pastors." The plan is as follows:
The Plan
We would give the pastor a good milking cow ($450 to $700) and he would be required to give the first calf back to the ministry which would be given to another pastor who in turn would do the same after the calf matured and gave birth. The milk and additional calves would benefit the pastor’s family upkeep. If a male calf is born, it would be traded for a female calf. The second calf and others to follow would belong to the pastor to keep or sell.
This would be a good project for individuals, societies, men’s and lady’s groups, Sunday School classes, and congregations. This is a type of gift that keeps on giving and can touch the hearts of many. For example, if a church group of only 15 members gave $1.00 per week, at the end of 43 weeks, they would have $645.00 to buy a good grade cow.
Today, $1.00 does not purchase much as we well know when we go to the grocery store. Yet, if we combine our dollars, none of us will spend much individually but collectively, we will be able to make our HHM Kenya pastors and their families extremely happy. Our goal is to provide each Kenya HHM pastor with a good grade milk cow within the next five years.

MISSION REPORTS AND NEEDS
HELPING HANDS CHILDREN'S HOME REPORT
Currently the Children's Home has 72 orphans. The home newly renovated in 2008 & 2009 is a home where the love of Christ is seen and felt through the ministries of the staff.
The children are taught the Word of God and also learn about farming and taking care of animals. They are involved in the many chores involving the Children's Home. Every orphan has a responsibility commesurate with their age. Cows have to be milked, sheep and goats led to grass land, chickens fed, dishes washed, clothes washed, house cleaning, planting of maize (corn), cleaning the grounds and many more duties that need attention.
The education of the children takes place at the Helping Hands Christian School which provides a superior education to the public schools in the area. We thank God that we have 920 children in our Christian schools.
